Even though I’m not an attorney,the article on whether or not one should respond to every argument was very interesting. I recently went through a two-day trial over spousal support. My ex-husband, who appeared pro se, threw out all kinds of irrelevant garbage, including plenty of lies. It drove me crazy and I wanted my lawyer to address everything. But she’s good and knew what to address and what to leave alone. I learned a lot and we won against the odds (by God’s grace and great legal skills).

These are great articles, but the tan colored background makes it hard to read. A light gray or white would be much easier on the eyes.

The word is “equate”. “Equivalate” is not a word. It is the sword of “Damocles”. One “cuts through the Gordian knot”. The meaning of the expression is lost if one tries to “untie” it.
