Even though I'm not an attorney, the article on whether or not one should respond to every argument was very interesting. I recently went through a two-day trial over spousal support. My ex-husband, who appeared pro se, threw out all kinds of irrelevant garbage, including plenty of lies. It drove me crazy and I wanted my lawyer to address everything. But she's good and knew what to address and what to leave alone. I learned a lot and we won against the odds (by God's grace and great legal skills).

Your article on "Should You Respond To Every Argument" and The "Importance of Listening During Direct Examination" provides valuable information. Just as the above mentioned comment, can you provide us information on the areas to listen to during direct examination.

Your article, Should You Respond to EVERY Argument? was very insightful. In the future, could you include your tactics when presenting your closing arguments, whether in writing or oral, before an administrative judge?

Thanks
